I am committed to supporting  LGBTQIA+ students because I was and still am one & I remember how lonely that can sometimes feel. It's so important for LGBTQIA+ individuals to know that there is someone in every corner of this school that is loud in their support for their well being - so they know they're not alone in their journey. I am committed to supporting LGBTQIA+ students because as a Student Affairs professional who has identified as gay and out for over 20 years, I've learned a lot through everyday social and professional experiences. As a campus leader, I strive to share my experiences with younger generations in an effort to improve their lives & serve the LGBTQIA+ Community as an open, honest & reliable mentor.

I am committed to supporting LGBTQIA+ students because everyone is important, and has the right to be happy, treated fairly, love who they love, and love themselves.

I am committed to supporting LGBTQIA+ students because this group of students need support & advocacy because of all the challenges they will face due to the country's outlook and ignorance of LGBTQIA.

I am committed to supporting  LGBTQIA+ students because I help connect students to employers and want to be able to assist all students with their career search.

I am committed to supporting LGBTQIA+ students because the world I want to live in is a world where every person feels free to show who they are and feels confident that they will be respected and safe in their personhood. I have a transgender nephew who is growing up strong and brave in the face of the challenges that LGBTQIA+ people continue to encounter every day, and I've learned so much from watching him navigate these struggles. I'm committed to supporting all our students, but especially those who have to work extra hard to be seen and heard.

I am committed to supporting LGBTQIA+ students because I believe as a police officer we are here to help & assist all people, and communities. I also believe that we should strive for equality of all communities, and serve those communities the best we can.

I am standing in support of the LGBTQIA+ because they are us, and we all deserve a safe and inclusive environment on our campuses and in this country.
