Become a Member of the 11 Or More Project at Rutgers-Camden
About the program:
Research from the Gay, Lesbian, Straight Education Network (GLSEN), shows that when lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer/questioning, asexual, intersex, plus (LGBTQIA students can identify at least 11 supportive faculty and staff members at their high school, they are more likely to feel safe, supported and show positive educational outcomes. However, only 39 percent of high school students can identity 11 or more supportive faculty and staff at their school. Although Rutgers-Camden cannot change the environments our students come from, we can work to create an inclusive environment for LGBTQIA+ students on our campus. The 11 or More Project is a comprehensive support program to make sure that all LGBTQIA+ students can identity 11 or more LGBTQIA+ supportive faculty and staff at Rutgers-Camden.

What we need:
We are collecting names, statements and pictures from people who want to visually show their support for LGBTQIA+ students. We understand that some people, regardless of level of support, may not be able to participate or have their name and image featured on the website because of security reasons.
Professional Photograph:
We also want to get photographs of 11orMore Project Members. Please consider having your photo taken and featured on the website so students can see images of people who are willing to be vocal about their support for LGBTQIA+ students. ese will be FREE professional headshots that can also be used for your own work. If you want to have your picture featured please visit the website at https://rutgerscam11ormore.wixsite.com/mysite/book-online and make an appointment with our photographer.
